  • Overview

POD1UM-303 was a randomized phase 3 study evaluating the checkpoint inhibitor retifanlimab in first-line advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the anal canal. Based on the findings, the addition of retifanlimab to carboplatin-paclitaxel improved progression-free and overall survival, demonstrated durable responses, and showed benefit even in the context of crossover to immunotherapy. Learn more about the survival outcomes from POD1UM-303 and their clinical implications with Dr. Brian McDonough and Dr. Stacey Cohen, Professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Washington School of Medicine.
