  • Overview

Before proceeding with this evaluative tactic, view the third program in this series by clicking here.

Each member of the multidisciplinary team has an important role and responsibility. The pathologist is not typically responsible for performing the biopsy or surgical resection procedure, but they may collaborate with the physician performing the biopsy to ensure adequate tissue is collected for diagnosis and testing. Assess the information provided in the second evaluative portion of this Precision Medicine Masterclass with Dr. Michael Overman, Oncologist and Professor at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, and Dr. Anil Parwani, Anatomical Pathologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
