  • Overview

Dr. Veluswamy is a paid consultant of Regeneron.

While chemotherapy was at the forefront of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treatment for several decades, we now have a combination of enhanced diagnostic technologies and additional therapeutic options that may allow for more tailored treatment selection based on the patient’s case.1,2 To ensure we consider all appropriate treatment options, it’s important to consult with the multidisciplinary team,3 take into account patient factors,4,5 and foster an open dialogue and involve patients in the decision-making process.5 Dr. Charles Turck, ReachMD program host for this program sponsored by Regeneron, will discuss strategies for individualized treatment selection in advanced NSCLC with Dr. Raj Veluswamy. Dr. Veluswamy is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York and a board-certified medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies.
