  • Overview

This MinuteCE program brings a practical, team-based approach to improving atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) prevention. Featuring expert multidisciplinary insights from Joseph Englert, MD, and Matt Malachowski, PharmD, this series focuses on identifying high-risk and underserved patients, advancing LDL-C–centered treatment strategies, and sustaining long-term secondary prevention.

Across the program, faculty highlight guideline-aligned approaches to risk assessment, treatment intensification—including combination lipid-lowering therapy—and ongoing lipid monitoring. Emphasis is placed on coordinated, systems-based care strategies that support adherence, streamline workflows, and improve patient outcomes to help clinicians close care gaps one inning at a time.
