This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of Cardiologists and Pulmonologists, as well as physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and all other healthcare providers.
Learning Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
- Define the steps to maximize safety and success during a RHC procedure.
- Understand the dynamics associated with accurate evaluation of waveforms in the RHC process.
- Implement an understanding to differentiate between good and bad waveforms for accurate wedge measurements and other calcuations in the RHC process.
- Understand various drugs and associated dosing with the vasodilator challenge.
