  • Overview

    The Fundamentals of Pulmonary Hypertension for Advanced Allied Health Professionals provides advanced practice providers with information about the pathophysiology and classification of pulmonary hypertension, starting by defining the basics of pulmonary hypertension. This course provides you with the science and classification associated with pulmonary hypertension, as well as expert opinions on variations in patient presentation and management techniques. The course aims to enable you to understand the foundational knowledge of pulmonary hypertension and address dynamics with variations in patient presentation. 

  • Target Audience

    This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of Pulmonologists and Cardiologists, as well as Primary Care Physicians, Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists, and all other healthcare providers who are involved in the management of patients with pulmonary hypertension.

  • Learning Objectives

    After participating in this educational activity, participants should be better able to: 

    • Identify and evaluate early signs and symptoms of pulmonary hypertension. 
    • Define and differentiate signs of pulmonary hypertension while understanding its relation to other comorbidities.
    • Discuss the pathophysiology and patient presentation of pulmonary hypertension.
