  • Overview

How should emerging APOC3-targeted therapies change the conversation around severe hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG) and familial chylomicronemia syndrome (FCS)? Drs. Gerald Watts and Ioanna Gouni-Berthold examine findings from SHASTA-3, SHASTA-4, CORE, CORE2, PALISADE, and BALANCE, with a focus on triglyceride lowering, acute pancreatitis, and safety. Hear how the experts interpret emerging data in sHTG alongside advances in FCS treatment and translate the evidence into patient-centered clinical decision-making while avoiding inappropriate cross-trial comparisons.
