  • Overview

As neurologists and psychiatrists, we both deal with the brain. We have the same board administering our exams, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. We often prescribe the same medications. Neurologists diagnose depression, psychiatrists diagnose dementia. We have subspecialties called neuropsychiatry and behavioral neurology.
