Most women destined to suffer myocardial infarction do so well into the menopause. Yet a few have heart attacks at an early age. Why? Our guest today is Dr. Judith Lichtman who is studying this issue. She received her doctorate in epidemiology at Yale University’s school of public health where she is an associate professor. She is also the co-principle investigator of the VIRGO study and is looking into premature heart disease in women.
