    According to the National Center for Health Statistics one in nine women will develop some form of cardiovascular disease by age 64. After age 65, the ratio rises to one in three women. Few women however, know what they should be doing to prevent heart disease, even though it is ten times more likely that an American woman will die from heart disease than from breast cancer.
