Dr. Steven Wolfson is a cardiologist in New Haven, Connecticut, where he works with Cardiology Associates of New Haven, a 15-member cardiology practice he founded in 1977 after leaving the Yale faculty. Dr. Wolfson works at two hospitals in New Haven, participates in the teaching programs at both, as well as the medical school, and does research.

Dr. Wolfson has served as a past-president of the medical staff at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, and of the New Haven County Medical Association, and is currently New Haven's Councilor to the Connecticut State Medical Society.

Dr. Wolfson is also one of the founders of Project Access-New Haven, a nonprofit created to deliver pro bono care to uninsured, low income people in New Haven with urgent medical needs — utilizing a network of over 200 volunteer physicians and two hospitals
