Dr. Dhillon graduated Loyola College and earned his M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency with The Union Memorial Hospital, from which he received the 2001 senior resident of the year award for the ambulatory care center. Dr. Dhillon is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the National Lipid Association (NLA), American Society of Hypertension (ASH) and several other professional societies. Dr. Dhillon currently serves as the medical director of Calvert Medical Group in Baltimore, MD and the Maryland chapter president of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI). His professional interests include advanced analysis of lipids using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, plaque testing and investigating particle sizes; complete management of lipid disorders; and cardiovascular screening and analysis. Dr. Dhillon also frequently delivers lectures to HCP audiences on the topics of coronary heart disease (CHD) and lipid management.
