Dr. Sandra Carson is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University, and director of reproductive medicine and infertility at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island in Providence.

She is a past president of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and program chair of the Committee on The Scientific Program of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Carson has received more than 15 years of NIH research funding, with research interests spanning from ectopic pregnancy and spontaneous abortion, to in vitro fertilization and preimplantation genetic diagnosis.
