Dr. Nancy J.V. Bohannon is director of clinical research at the Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Program at St. Luke's Hospital in San Francisco, and is in full time solo private practice in San Francisco, specializing in research in and treatment of diabetes.

Dr. Bohannon completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Children's Hospital, San Francisco, and the Dorothy Frank Diabetes clinical/research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), sponsored by the San Francisco Diabetes Association, prior to becoming an assistant clinical professor at UCSF.
