Kathryn J. Ruddy is a medical oncologist who sees patients with breast cancer. She has particular expertise in:
- Premenopausal breast cancer
- Male breast cancer
- Survivorship issues including fertility preservation
- Management of side effects of treatment
In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Ruddy co-leads the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center Symptom Control/Survivorship Cross-Disciplinary Group, and she is active in research focused on prediction and prevention of toxicity in patients with cancer, and patient-reported outcomes during and after cancer treatment. She mentors residents and fellows, speaks at national meetings, and publishes in high-impact scientific journals.
