Dr. Joseph Kim is a physician technologist who actively blogs about advances in technology as they relate to the world of healthcare, as well the career landscape for physicians. He is the founder and executive editor of several well-read blogs, including MedicineandTechnology.com, MedicalSmartphones.com, MobileHealthComputing.com, and NonClinicalJobs.com. As a social media specialist, he maintains an active Twitter account (@DrJosephKim) and has built several social networking communities.

Dr. Kim is also the President of Q Synthesis, a professional medical education and quality improvement company. Previously, he served on the board of directors for the National Association of Medical Education Companies, Inc. Dr. Kim has a BS in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MD from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, an MPH from the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Public Health, and an MBA from St. Joseph's University.
