Dr. Joseph Golbus is president and chief executive officer of NorthShore University HealthSystem Medical Group, a group of more than 550 employed physicians in Chicago's northern suburbs. Dr. Golbus graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois, where he also received his medical degree. He earned his residency in internal medicine at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine at Evanston Hospital, and fellowship training in rheumatology at the University of Michigan Hospitals and the Rackham Arthritis Research Unit. Dr. Golbus also has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. In addition to his duties running NorthShore Medical Group, Dr. Golbus remains a practicing physician. He has authored more than 30 publications and is clinical associate professor of medicine at University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine.
