Janet Maxson is thePast- President of the Midwest Lipid Association . She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a Fellow of the American Heart Association Council of Cardiovascular Nursing and the National Lipid Association.

Dr. Maxson earned an MS and PhD in Health Administration from Kennedy-Western University, Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, and a BSN from Minot State University.
