Dr. J. Herman Kan is an assistant professor of radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Kan specializes in pediatric and adolescent radiology and has published numerous article concerning the application of radiological services in this area for diagnostic and imaging purposes. He is proficient in general pediatric radiology, with special interest in multimodality pediatric musculoskeletal imaging.
Dr. Kan received his undergraduate degree at UCLA, and his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York. His internship in internal medicine and his residency in diagnostic radiology were completed at University of Chicago Hospitals. He completed his two-year fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Boston Children's Hospital with a sub-specialty in pediatric musculoskeletal radiology during his second year.
