Dr. F. Anthony Greco is the director of the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville. A former professor of oncology and director of the division of oncology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Dr. Greco has served in his current role since 1993.

Dr. Greco specializes in cancers of unknown primary, lung cancer, and germ cell tumors. He holds memberships in the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Southern Association of Oncology, an organization for which he is a co-founder and a past president. He has published nearly 400 articles in peer-reviewed publications, and has also published more than 500 manuscripts, books, chapters and other materials.

He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine, and completed his internship at the University of California, Los Angeles, and his residency in internal medicine at West Virginia University Medical Center. He finished his fellowship in medical oncology at the National Cancer Institute.
