Cari Levy, MD

    Dr. Cari Levy is a board certified internist, geriatrician and health services researcher. Dr. Levy graduated from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, with a degree in biology in 1993. She then attended medical school at the University of Colorado Denver. Dr. Levy began her internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University in 1997 and served as chief resident in 2001. She then returned to Colorado for a fellowship in geriatrics.

    Dr. Levy is the director of palliative care at the Denver VA. Her research focuses on end-of-life care in nursing homes and her publications have appeared in Chest, the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association and the Journal of Palliative Medicine. Dr. Levy is president of the Colorado Medical Directors Association and is the medical director of a long-term care facility in Denver.
