As Clinical Director at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Nelson has been a Clinical Director at FMC Rochester since 2009 and this is his most recent assignment as part of a twenty five year career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Having worked at various duty locations throughout the agency, to include institutional, regional and central office experience, Dr. Nelson is uniquely qualified to discuss his experiences about correctional health care issues and opportunities within the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Dr. Nelson received his Doctor of Osteopathy from Kirksville College in 1984 and is Board Certified in Family Practice.
