  • Overview

Based on early data, advances in liquid biopsies and molecular markers like ctDNA may help us better identify a breast cancer patient’s risk of recurrence. While these developments may lead to earlier detection and better outcomes, studies exploring their clinical use are still ongoing. Here to talk about the current challenges and opportunities presented by liquid biopsies and molecular markers for recurrent breast cancer detection is Dr. Ben Park, Director of the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, where he’s also a Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Park presented a session on this topic at the 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.
