    For patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) who are overweight or obese, weight management may have important implications for disease outcomes. In fact, emerging evidence suggests that GLP-1 receptor agonists may help reduce inflammation and disease activity in addition to improving physical function and quality of life. Here to talk about the potential role of GLP-1 receptor agonists in PsA care and how we can thoughtfully approach conversations about weight management with patients is Dr. Philip Mease. He’s the Director of Rheumatology Research at Providence Swedish Medical Center and a Clinical Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington.
