Welcome to CME on ReachMD. This preview of the upcoming live sessions titled “Master Class in Cardiac Amyloidosis: Disease Spectrum, Diagnosis and Management”, is provided by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and is supported by an unrestricted educational grant from BridgeBio.
Dr. Malhotra:
2024 was an exciting year in amyloidosis. We saw exciting new data from several clinical trials along with approval of new therapies and initiation of novel studies for diagnosis and management of amyloidosis. To learn about these latest advances, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology is bringing back the master class in cardiac amyloidosis in the spring of 2025.
Hello, I'm Saurabh Malhotra, a cardiologist at Cook County Health and Program Chair of this educational and extremely successful Master Class in Cardiac Amyloidosis. This spring will be the third iteration of this Master Class which has been attended by over 1,000 participants from over 15 countries. The next Master Class will be held from March 7th to 9th, 2025 and will consist of four 2-and-half-hour sessions. During this, you will have the opportunity to learn from international experts with vast experience in amyloidosis. They will share their insights and best practices to help you navigate the care of your patients with amyloidosis.
While we continue our focus on suspecting and diagnosing various aspects of amyloidosis, we will also discuss perspectives on how to improve outreach and at risk and vulnerable populations. We will also continue to provide focused sessions for nuclear technologists, where we will discuss nuances and imaging, imaging protocols, tracers and how to limit pitfalls and artifacts.
Get answers to all those challenging questions that keep you up at night and become part of a community providing appropriate and timely care for these patients. I encourage you and your multidisciplinary care team to register for this program at the link provided below and I look forward to seeing you in March 2025.
