William Anderson, PharmD, MBA, is director of pharmaceutical services at Health First Health Plans, in Rockledge, Florida. He completed his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and Masters Degree in Business Administration at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida.

In addition to both clinical and administrative roles in health systems including clinical pharmacist and clinical coordinator, his current administrative role has helped Dr. Anderson develop an intense appreciation for the importance of patient-focused health and wellness in integrated health systems management. Dr. Anderson chairs the Pharmacy, Therapeutics and New Technology committee, and is responsible for Pharmacy Benefit Operations, including contracting and strategy development. Additional responsibilities include Medicare Bid development, Part D operations, commercial/ASO pharmacy services and health systems integration.
