Wayne Gordon, PhD
Wayne A. Gordon is the Jack Nash Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine and Associate Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine; he is also Chief of the Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology Service. Dr. Gordon is a diplomate in clinical neuropsychology and a fellow in the Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research. He has published more than 100 articles and book chapters on Traumatic Brain Injury. He is the Project Director of the NIDRR funded Research and Training Center on Traumatic Brain Injury Interventions and the Mount Sinai Traumatic Brain Injury Model System and the Mount Sinai Injury Control Research Center. He has received several awards during his career including a recognition award in 1996 from the NYS Department of Health for "his visionary work" in TBI. Dr. Gordon is the Vice Chair of the Board of the Brain Injury Association of America and Vice President of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine.
