Walter Stadler, MD

Dr. Walter Stadler, professor of medicine and director of the genitourinary program at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, is an expert in prostate, renal, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers. He concentrates on the use of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, anti-angiogenic therapy, as well as molecularly targeted therapy for patients with locally advanced or metastatic disease.
His research focuses on the development of new treatments for renal, prostate, and urological cancers. Dr. Stadler's recent investigations include the development of molecular and imaging markers for predicting response to anti-angiogenic therapies.
