Dr. Vincent Bufalino is CEO of Midwest Heart Specialists, one of the biggest community heart doctor groups in the country and director of cardiovascular services at Edward Heart Hospital in the western Chicago suburb of Naperville. Dr. Bufalino has been an active contributor to the American Heart Association (AHA) for more than two decades, having served on the AHA's national board of directors, and in 1997 was the American Heart Association Physician of the Year. A Chicago native and a product of the Loyola University system, Dr. Bufalino received his undergraduate degree in biology and received his doctorate in medicine from the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago.
