Dr. Vijay Nambi is an assistant professor of medicine in the section of atherosclerosis and vascular medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, the Center for Cardiovascular Prevention, and the Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center in Houston. He is a staff cardiologist at the Ben Taub General Hospital and staff at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Hospital, both of which are also in Houston. He also serves as the program director of the atherosclerosis and vascular medicine fellowship at Baylor. His research interests are specifically in biomarkers, risk stratification and imaging, as related to coronary and peripheral arterial disease.
