Dr. Susan M. Levy joined the full-time medical staff at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital in Baltimore as medical director and vice president of medical affairs, in December 1998. She is board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. She also holds a faculty appointment at Johns Hopkins University as instructor in medicine.
Dr. Levy graduated from the University of Maryland and did her internal medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed a geriatric fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Levy is a member of the American Medical Directors Association and has been a certified medical director since 1996. She is involved in the AMDA Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) Steering committee and recently co-chaired the CPG consensus conference on common infections in long term care medicine.
