Stan Brock

    Stan Brock is the founder of Remote Area Medical (RAM), a non-profit, volunteer relief corps dedicated to serving mankind by providing free health care, dental care, eye care, veterinary services, and technical and educational assistance primarily to people in remote areas of the United States and the world.

    Remembered by many as the co-star of the television series Wild Kingdom, Mr. Brock grew up with the Wapishana Indians in the Central Amazon Basin in South America. Prior to founding RAM in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1985, Mr. Brock spent 15 years as general manager of the Rupununi Development Company Dadanawa Ranch in Guyana, the world's largest tropical cattle ranch.
