Sherwin Nuland, MD
    Sherwin B. Nuland MD, is a clinical professor of surgery at Yale University School of Medicine, where he currently teaches bioethics and medical history. A prolific writer, Dr. Nuland is the author of numerous books including How We Die: Reflections on Life's Final Chapter, which won the National Book Award. In addition to How We Die, Dr. Nuland has written many other books, including: How We Live; Doctors: The Biography of Medicine; The Mysteries Within; Leonardo da Vinci; Lost in America; The Doctor's Plague; Maimonides; and, The Art of Aging. Dr. Nuland also writes features for The New Yorker, Time, The New York times and other major publications.
