Dr. L. Scott Levin is professor and chair of orthopaedic surgery and professor of plastic surgery at Penn Medicine. 

Dr. Levin received his MD from Temple University School of Medicine, and went on to serve his internship and residency at Duke University. He completed a hand fellowship in Kleinert Kutz Hand Care Center in Kentucky. Dr. Levin also served as a Captain in the US Army, 3274th Medical Corps Reserve. 

Dr. Levin is an editor of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery's Upper Extremity Section and the Journal of Hand Surgery. He also serves on the board of advisory editors for Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research.
