Robert Rapp, PharmD
Robert Rapp, PharmD

    Dr. Robert P. Rapp is the associate director for clinical services and a professor of pharmacy and surgery at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He received his doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 1963, and completed his postgraduate training at the University of Tennessee in 1970.

    Dr. Rapp has published extensively in a number of journals, including US Pharmacist, Pharmacy Times, Formulary, Annals of Pharmacotherapy, and Pharmacy Practice News, and was editor-in-chief of The Pill Book: A Guide to Over-the-Counter Medications, published in 1997 by Current Medical Directions Press. He received the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacy Best Practice Award for 2004 for the paper, "A Five-year Program to Control the Use of Antimicrobials in a University Affiliated Hospital."
