Dr. Riley Williams III is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, an associate attending orthopedic surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and assistant attending orthopedic surgeon at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is also a clinician-scientist in the Laboratory for Soft Tissue Research in the Hospital for Special Surgery's research division.

Dr. Williams is the head team physician for the NBA's New Jersey Nets, the medical director for the New York Red Bulls Major League Soccer team and the head team physician for the Iona College Department of Athletics in New Rochelle, New York.
