Dr. Richard Goode is a professor of surgery and otolaryngology at Stanford School of Medicine and the chief of the division of otolaryngology at the Veterans Administration Palo Alto Healthcare System. Dr. Goode's research is focused on developing surgical procedures and ancillary devices that will restore hearing loss and/or improve auditory perception and clarity. Dr. Goode's research also included developing techniques to treat obstructive sleep apnea surgically. Dr. Goode has published numerous journal articles on both of these research topics.
Dr. Goode graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine and is past president of the American Academy of Otolarynology-Head and Neck Surgery, and of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
