Renuka Jain, MD

Renuka Jain is currently the Director of Structural and Interventional Echocardiography at
Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. She was promoted to Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine by the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health in 2018.
Dr. Jain is a board-certified cardiologist with experience in all aspects of general cardiology and specializes in advanced echocardiography and valvular heart disease. Dr. Jain has a special focus in advanced structural heart imaging and interventional echocardiography. She has given both national and international talks on structural heart imaging.
Dr. Jain is an active member of professional organizations including the American College of Cardiology (ACC), American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), and Society of Cardiac Computed Tomography (SCCT). Her bibliography to date includes 43 articles and 4 book chapters. Dr. Jain serves on the American Society of Echocardiography Scientific Sessions Planning Committee (2020-2021) and the American Society of Echocardiography National Guidelines and Standards Committee (2018-2021). She is the rotation director for echocardiography rotations for the general cardiology fellowship at Aurora Health Care. She also serves on the Conflict of Interest Committee and the Committee for Developing Leaders for Advocate Aurora Health System.
Dr. Jain graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY with a Doctorate in Medicine and was awarded the Marie Nercessian Memorial Award (awarded to graduating medical student for exhibiting care, unusual concern, and dedication to helping sick people). She completed Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. She completed Cardiology Fellowship at University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor, MI with a special focus on echocardiography.
During her time as faculty at University of Michigan, she served as Acting Director of the Ann Arbor VA Echocardiography Laboratory and cared for patients in the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program. Dr. Jain also established and served as the Medical Director for the Cardiovascular Genetics Clinic while on faculty at the University of Minnesota.
