Dr. Raymond Scalettar is a former chair of the American Medical Association Board of Trustees. A specialist in arthritis and rheumatology, Dr. Scalettar has been a clinical professor of medicine at George Washington University School of the Health Sciences for nearly two decades. Because of his long-term interest in a wide variety of public health issues, he has served as a medical advisor to the Distilled Spirits Council, which represents some of the biggest names in the liquor industry, from Bicardi USA, to Future Brands to Moet Hennessy.
