Dr. Jeffrey Karnes is a senior associate consultant in the department of urology at the Mayo Clinic is Minnesota with research interests in bladder, prostate and kidney cancers.

Dr. Karnes received his MD from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He went on to complete a general surgery internship and urologic surgery residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.

Dr. Karnes is a member of the American Urological Association, the Society for University Urologists, and the American College of Surgeons.
