Dr. Pauline Chen was educated at Harvard University and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and completed her general surgery training at Yale University. She is a surgeon at University of California, Los Angeles specializing in liver and kidney transplants and the treatment of cancer. She is author of the book, Final Exam: A Surgeon's Reflections on Mortality.
