Dr. Patricia K. Donahoe is the director of Pediatric Surgical Research Laboratories and is also chief emerita of Pediatric Surgical Services at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is the Marshall K. Bartlett Professor of Surgery at the Harvard Medical School, an associate member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, a principle faculty member at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, and an associate faculty member at the Center for Human Genomic Research at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Donahoe has published over 230 peer-reviewed publications. She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. She is past-president of the Boston Surgical Society and the American Pediatric Surgical Association, and is president-elect of the New England Surgical Society.
