Dr. Mohammad Madjid is senior research scientist at Texas Heart Institute, assistant professor of medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Texas.
Dr. Madjid received his MD from the School of Medicine at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran, and went on to receive his Master of Science degree in clinical research in the Center for Clinical Research & Evidence-Based Medicine at the University of Texas-Houston Health Science Center, and internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Hoiston, Texas.
Dr. Madjid has co-chaired ACC/AHA/CDC Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases and Biological Threats: The Clinical and Public Health Implications for the Prevention and Control of Cardiovascular Diseases.
