Dr. Michelle Alonso-Basanta is the Helene Blum Assistant Professor in the department of radiation oncology at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia.

Dr. Alonso-Basanta received her PhD in pathology from the College of Arts and Sciences at New York University, and her MD from New York University School of Medicine. She completed an internship, as well as a residency in the department of radiation oncology, at New York University Medical Center.
