Dr. Michael Happes is currently a general cardiology fellow at North Shore-LIJ. He completed his medical training at the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine and stayed at SUNY Downstate to complete his internal medicine residency. Dr. Happes will be staying at North Shore-LIJ for his interventional cardiology fellowship. His areas of interest include mechanical support devices and pre-hospital emergency cardiac care.
