Dr. Lisa M. Gibbs is an associate professor in the department of family medicine, director of the geriatric medical education program, the geriatric fellowship program and the health assessment program for seniors at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. In addition to her clinical and teaching roles, Dr. Gibbs is a researcher and co-investigator for several National Institutes of Health grant studies related to elder mistreatment.
Dr. Gibbs received her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, followed by a residency in family medicine and a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of California, Davis, in Sacramento, California.
