Leslie Miller, MD

    Dr. Leslie W. Miller is professor and chief of the Integrated Cardiology Programs at Washington Hospital Center and Georgetown University Hospital and School of Medicine, as well as the Walters Chair in Cardiovascular Medicine at Georgetown University. He is also director of the Heart Failure/Tx and Ventricular Assist Device program at Washington Hospital Center.

    Dr. Miller received his MD from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, and went on to complete an internship at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri. He also completed an internship in surgery and research fellowship in general surgery at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He served as chief resident in the department of medicine at Washington University and Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, completed a cardiology fellowship at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston and was a senior resident in surgery at Boston University.
