Dr. Jon Abramson is a chair in the department of pediatrics at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and physician-in-chief at Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Previously, he chaired the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) committee on infectious diseases, and more recently chaired both the AAP committee on pediatric devices and the Centers for Disease Control's advisory committee on immunization practices.
