Dr. John Stuart Ablon is the director of psychotherapy research at the Psychotherapy Research Program, co-director of the Center for Collaborative Problem Solving, and associate director of the Collaborative Problem Solving Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Ablon is also associate clinical professor of psychology in the department of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ablon is a licensed clinical psychologist and independent health service provider in the state of Massachusetts. 

After receiving his PhD in clinical psychology at the University of California Berkeley, Dr. Ablon completed an internship in adult and child psychology, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in adult and child psychology at Massachussetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ablon was also a fellow of the American Psyhoanalytic Association.
