Dr. Jerome Kassirer is a Distinguished Professor and senior assistant to the dean at Tufts University School of Medicine. He served as editor-in-chief of the New England Journal of Medicine in the 1990s and is the author of On the Take: How Medicine's Complicity with Big Business Can Endanger Your Health.
